Broadcaster Kim Gu-ra apologized for saying that some PDs “have bad personalities.”

Earlier, Kim Gu-ra mentioned the departure of producer Lee Jin-hyeok, with whom he had worked for a long time, on his YouTube channel last month, and confessed, “If a bad producer comes, I will have to endure the annoyance.”
At the same time, he said, “Na Young-seok and PD Kim Tae-ho are creative and have good personalities, but most PDs are not like Na Young-seok and Kim Tae-ho.” He also said, “Most of the people who are not like Na Young-seok and Kim Tae-ho have bad personalities. They don’t communicate well.”
Regarding this, Kim Gu-ra bowed his head and said, “There was a huge backlash after that remark. It was a truly wrong expression and a slip of the tongue.” He continued, “I couldn’t stand it because I felt so sorry considering how close I was with the PDs.”
He continued, “While monitoring the broadcast, I didn’t really pay attention to the expression. It wasn’t my intention to disparage the PDs. Most of the PDs are good people.”
Kim Gu-ra also said, “I was actually unknown for about 10 years. When I was gaining attention with the controversy on the Internet broadcast, the person who had the courage to use me at that time was a KBS radio PD, and the person who allowed me to do so was also the KBS radio director.” He added, “If it weren’t for their determination and courage, my debut on public broadcasting would have been delayed.”
He then explained, “What I wanted to talk about then was that there are difficulties in communication between PDs and cast members, so let’s work together. I am very grateful to the PDs.”
