On August 31st, the 2024 Kim Jong-hyun Fan Meeting ‘ENDING’ was held at the main auditorium of Sungshin Women’s University’s Unjeong Green Campus in Seoul.
This fan meeting is the first time he has met domestic fans in about 8 months since the fan concert ‘Sparkling Eternity’ held in December of last year, and it has garnered much attention as the last fan meeting before his enlistment. The name of the fan meeting ‘Ending’ contains the meaning of ‘And’, which means to keep moving forward, and the official fandom name ‘&U’.
On this day, Kim Jong-hyun announced the start of the concert with the ‘MOTTO’ stage. He also heated up the atmosphere on site by presenting stages with ‘Lights’ and ‘I’m so dirty, How can I love you’.
Kim Jong-hyun added variety to the fan meeting with different setlists for the first and second sessions. In the first session, he performed “Hello” (décalcomanie) and “Do as You Wish”, and in the second session, he performed “Blaze” and “New Season”, drawing a hot response and adding to the fun of watching and listening.
In particular, since it was Kim Jong-hyun’s last fan meeting before his enlistment, he conveyed his feelings through a handwritten letter. Kim Jong-hyun said, “Even as I write this letter, I am grateful and so grateful. I will return safely without getting sick and in good health. I believe that you will greet me brighter and louder on the day we meet again. See you again soon.” He touched fans with a simple yet sincere letter.
In addition, Kim Jong-hyun communicated with fans through various corners along with warm greetings. He spent valuable time with various corners such as ‘Jjong Data’ where he looked into Kim Jong-hyun’s representative keywords, ‘2024 Jong-hyun Awards’ where fans guessed various moments in which Kim Jong-hyun was active, and ‘Jong-hyun Marvel’ where he performed missions for the square he moved to by throwing a dice.
