The US statements about its readiness to negotiate are nothing more than a means to “deceive the international community,” Kim Jong-un said. The State Department made a proposal to resume the dialogue after the next missile launch in the DPRK

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un rejected the US proposal to return to negotiations, which sounded after the DPRK’s next missile launch, the Ryonghap news agency reported.
“The US insists on ‘diplomatic engagement’ and ‘dialogue without preconditions’, but this is nothing more than a means to deceive the international community and mask their hostile behavior,” said Kim Jong-un.
In his opinion, the proposal for a dialogue is a continuation of the “hostile policy pursued by the previous US administrations.”
“As the events of the past eight months since the new US administration came to power have clearly shown, the US military threat and hostile policy towards us has not changed at all,” the DPRK leader said.
