Kim Sae-rom revealed an anecdote about being a victim of bullying on the YouTube web entertainment show ‘A-Class Jang Young-ran’ released on the 27th, saying, “This is the first time I’m talking about this on air.”
Kim Sae-rom explained, “I was 21 at the time. I did a program with my senior. It was a program that had to maintain a friendly atmosphere in the room.”

Kim Sae-rom said, “At that time, it had been two years since I debuted. If this was a broadcast, I thought, ‘I can stop doing this.’ But the broadcast was 10 episodes long, and I had a contract, so I had to do them all. But when I was filming, tears kept falling. I quickly got over it, and although I cried here and there, I finished the broadcast.”
“But after the broadcast, in the lobby where 100 audience members were pouring in, that senior said, ‘Hey, come here. Where did you learn broadcasting! Do you know ‘Odosi’ (a funny point in broadcasting slang)?’ It was the first time I heard the word ‘Odosi.’ I told him, ‘I don’t know, senior. Just explain it to me and I will correct it.’ But he said, ‘Where are you talking back to? How did your mom and dad raise you at home?’” he said, making it even more shocking.
Kim Sae-rom said that she went up to the rooftop with the bullying senior thanks to the manager’s mediation. “I was so shocked that I was shaking. Even on the rooftop, the senior got angry and said, ‘I don’t know where you learned broadcasting.’ So I said, ‘Senior, if you explain in more detail, I will correct it,’ but he said, ‘You’re talking back to me all the way,’ and tried to slap me. I lost my mind there. I screamed like a crazy person on the rooftop.”
Kim Sae-rom explained, “After that incident, whenever I went to a broadcasting set, people would ask, ‘What happened with that guy?’ It turned out that he had been badmouthing me too much.” Kim Sae-rom said, “The conclusion was that there were nine episodes left for the broadcast with that senior, but I did the rest by myself after one episode. That guy got cut.”
