Goalkeeper Kim Seung-gyu (34, Al-Shabaab), who returned to the Korean national soccer team after eight months, and domestic goalkeeper Cho Hyun-woo (33, Ulsan) are once again competing for the starting spot in Hong Myung-bo.
Kim Seung-gyu and Cho Hyun-woo were listed side by side on the list of players to be called up for the 2026 North and Central America World Cup Asia 3rd round qualifiers for the two-game series in October announced by national team coach Hong Myung-bo on the 30th of last month.
