Jaurim’s Kim Yoon-ah explained that the recent photo showing her going to the hospital was unrelated to her battle with ‘cerebral palsy’.
On the 5th, Jaurim posted on their official SNS (social networking service), “Kim Yoon-ah has a congenital immune disease, so she carefully manages her personal health with regular checkups and treatments every month.” They continued, “This is unrelated to cerebral palsy and does not significantly hinder her activities as an artist. She will continue to greet fans with active activities in the future.”
Earlier, on the 3rd, Kim Yuna posted a photo of herself lying in the hospital on her social networking service (SNS) account with the caption, “It’s Auxiliary Battery Day again, please take good care of me this month too.”
In the photo, Kim Yuna is wearing a mask and earphones, staring at the camera helplessly. He also wrote, “81/54, I’m in the middle of a dream feast that I have when I’m sick these days, so my vitality level is faint, so I guess I should roast some vitality mushrooms and vitality bass to fill up the food compartment.”
Kim Yuna said on her YouTube channel ‘Sebashi Lecture’ last July that she suffered from cranial nerve paralysis in 2011 due to a weakened immune system. “I have a congenital immunodeficiency, so I am still receiving treatment every month. At the time, the cranial nerve paralysis affected my senses of smell, taste, hearing, pain, hot and cold sensations, and my face, upper body muscles, and vagus nerve, all of which caused problems.”
He also expressed regret by saying, “Even now, some functions have not returned properly due to the aftereffects of the paralysis. In fact, I still have a slight voice disorder. I am suppressing it with force.”
When it was revealed that the hospital photo was due to cerebral palsy, the agency corrected the claim, saying that it was a routine checkup for health management.
