The regular season of the National League came to an end tonight (Tuesday) when most of the quarter-final series have already been scheduled before the final round. Kiryat Ata’s 72:79 victory over Hapoel Ramat Givatayim guaranteed them fourth place and a home advantage in the meeting against AS Ramat Hasharon.
At the bottom, Hapoel Migdal HaEmek / Jezreel used 26 points from Tomer Asaig to beat Raanana 76:87, and escape two victories from Maccabi Ashdod. The Dolphins, on the other hand, did not manage to beat the diamonds from Netanya and suffered a 91:96 loss. Maccabi Ma’ale Adumim missed a victory in Romema when they surrendered 80:86.
In a match for the Urban Protocol, Nahariya defeated Hapoel Hevel Modiin away at the end of a thriller. Just before the quarter-final series between them, Hapoel Afula easily defeated Maccabi Urbani Ramat Gan 94:71.
