For the fourth time this year, a late summer craft market was held in the rooms and on the outdoor area of the Gustavsburg on September 2nd and 3rd, 2023.

23 exhibitors took part, so the capacity limit was reached. The Jägersburg local council and Annette Haist, who was once again responsible for selecting the stands, were more than satisfied with the response to the event, which was favored by the weather. The 2023 craft market brought in proceeds of 624.22 euros, which benefited the kindergarten in the district.

The showman Marc Schultz from Homburg, represented by family members Dagmar Schultz and Silke Buntkowski, also made a donation to the kindergarten, because his grandfather was represented at the beach festival 80 years ago with a children’s carousel and bumper car and was always supported by the visitors.

The head of the kindergarten, Sabine Fuhrmeister, was delighted with both donations. She thanked the local council and Marc Schultz and emphasized that the money would be invested in new purchases. Council member Peter Fuchs and mayor Jürgen Schäfer, together with Annette Haist, assured that they would already take care of the selection of stalls for the next Easter market. They are sure that this event will once again be a great success.
