jpnn.comJAKARTA – Kitabisa’s commitment to protecting the environment through the Askara Nusantara program has borne sweet fruit.
The reason is, KitaBisa received appreciation at the 2024 Indonesia DEI & ESG Awards (IDEAS), by winning the Silver Winner award for the Environment sub-category.
This award was given for the consistency and sharpness of Kitabisa’s communication strategy in campaigning about the environment through the Askara Nusantara program.
Askara Nusantara is a sustainable program from Kitabisa that aims to encourage community involvement in waste management, renewable energy, nature conservation, and environmental restoration.
Chairman of the Kitabisa Foundation Management, Edo Irfandi, said that the implementation of the Askara Nusantara program is in line with Kitabisa’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
“For 10 years we have been present and have gained the trust of 10 million donors, now we continue to grow by creating and implementing sustainable and impactful programs,” said Edo Irfandi in his press release.
One of the programs is the Earth Protection Action.
This is a competition between teams of community-based waste management activists.
