Thiruvananthapuram: Notice by KK Rama ML to CPM State Secretary MV Govindan. It is necessary to withdraw the statement that his arm is not broken. The MLA has also informed that a defamation case will be filed if the statement is not withdrawn. Sachindev sent a similar notice to MLA and Deshabhimani newspaper.
KK was involved in the conflict in front of the Speaker’s office. Rama’s hand was injured. But there was widespread publicity in the social media that the hand was not broken. Later, MV Govindan issued a statement in support of this in a press conference. Govindan’s remark was that there are already news that KK Rama’s arm is not broken. Then Sachin Dev came forward with allegations along with MLA. The party mouthpiece Desabhimani also carried similar propaganda.
KK Rama’s lawyer’s notice is against this. It is required to retract the statement and apologize within 15 days. If not, it has been informed that court proceedings will be taken. The MLA has informed that they are proceeding with the case because no action has been taken even after complaining to the DGP and Cyber Cell.
