jpnn.comJAKARTA – The music group KLa Project released a double vinyl live album entitled KLakustik.
The album, which was first released in 1996, contains 16 of the best songs from the band consisting of Katon Bagaskara (vocals, guitar), Lilo (vocals, guitar), and Adi Adrian (piano).
KLakustik is a double album that contains a total of 16 songs from the previous album arranged into an acoustic format.
Not only performing old songs, KLa Project also recorded new songs, namely Gerimis (KLakustik #1) and Salamku Sahabat (KLakustik #2).
At that time, not many Indonesian musicians dared to do live recordings because in the past it was still analog – the precision had to be perfect because it could not be done repeatedly.
One of those who could do this was the KLa Project by recording live at the Jakarta Arts Building on March 11, 1966, which was attended by 400 invitees.
Then, the album was not only released in audio, but also using VCD. Therefore, the KLakustik project is very rare and proud.
The challenge in the production process is that the album was recorded with acoustic equipment. Ady, who usually uses a synthesizer, here only uses a grand piano. Meanwhile, Lilo only uses an acoustic guitar, from the usual electric guitar.
