Klopp’s winner is done with football, now in wrestling; Superstar joins WWE

The world’s heaviest striker says goodbye to football. English star Adenbayo Akinfenwa, who is famous for his strong body along with his athleticism, has had enough of football and has joined WWE World Wrestling Entertainment.

A stalwart in Wycombe Wanderers’ forward line, Akinfenwa has been dubbed the heaviest striker in the world. The star’s weight was 102 kg.

Even Jurgen Klopp came out to praise the performance of Akinfenwa, who is a fan of Liverpool.

In 2016, the player came to the camp of Wycombe Banders from AFC Wimbledon. The player, who won promotion twice in six years, came from the fourth division to the second division. Akinfenwa has played 250 matches for the team and has 60 goals and 40 assists.

Apart from Wycombe Wanderers, Akinfenwa has also played for Barry Town, Leyton Orient, Doncaster Rovers, Swansea City and Millwall.

It is reported that the star will make his debut in WWE next week.

‘I always asked myself what to do after retirement. It was a new experience every time I asked.

I have been fortunate enough to do what I love as a profession for 22 long years. When you retire it will be a new experience and freedom.

I loved wrestling a lot. I have known Anthony Ogogo (English professional wrestler) for a long time. I knew him when he was still a boxer. Unfortunately he can no longer box.

He was the one who told me to give it a try and my love for wrestling has not waned after so long,’ said Akinfenwa in an interview with the Daily Mail.
