Imran, the former prime minister of Pakistan and leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, staged a huge rally in Karachi yesterday. When Imran Khan was the Prime Minister of Pakistan, many members of the party started leaving the party due to dissatisfaction. As a result, the country’s opposition parties passed a no-confidence motion against the Imran government.
Imran Khan has ordered action to dissolve parliament before it can vote on the resolution. Opposition parties have stated they will not run in the by-elections. The Supreme Court ruled that Imran Khan’s dissolution of parliament was invalid and allowed a vote of confidence.
In the ensuing confidence vote, the government of Imran Khan was overthrown. Opposition groups called for the beleagured PM to resign. Imran Khan continues to complain that his regime has been overthrown by a conspiracy by foreign powers.

Imran Khan, who has vowed to tell the people the truth and seek justice and return to power, took part in a massive party rally and public meeting in Karachi yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, Imran Khan said, “Thank you to the people of Karachi for their faith and love for him. There is a conspiracy going on against our country. There is foreign conspiracy and interference against the sovereignty of the country.
I have never acted against any country. I have never considered India, Europe or the United States as an enemy country. I stand by the humanity of the world. I want to be friendly with everyone. But slavery will never be allowed.
I am the creator of many good projects and many universities for the country. But the corrupt did match-fixing to overthrow my government. Many political leaders were sold for a price.
The person who is on bail after being caught in a corruption complaint has become the Prime Minister of the country. His son, who is on bail, has become the Chief Minister of Punjab. This is a disgrace to the country, “he said.
