18-Year-Old Seriously Injured in Nice Stabbing

An 18-year-old male is in serious condition after sustaining multiple stab wounds in Nice, France, on Sunday, August 24, 2025. The incident, which occurred around 11 p.m. in the eastern part of the city, is currently under investigation.
Victim Seeks Help from Police
According to initial reports, the young man spontaneously presented himself to police officers already engaged in another intervention on Boulevard de l’Ariane, requesting assistance. He had suffered important blood loss.
Multiple Wounds Sustained
The victim presented with several injuries,including a stab wound to the throat,adn also wounds to a cheek and the side of a shoulder. national police officers immediately provided first aid, applying compression to the wounds while awaiting the arrival of emergency medical services.
Emergency Response and Hospitalization
The severity of the victimS condition “required medicalization on the part of the Samu” – france’s emergency medical service – at the scene. He was later transported to the Pasteur 2 hospital center for further treatment, confirmed the departmental fire and rescue service (SDIS) of the Alpes-Maritimes.the Samu stabilized the victim before transport, and he remains hospitalized in serious, but stable, condition as of Monday morning. The motive for the attack is currently unknown.
Police Manage Onlookers, Investigation underway
As first responders worked to stabilize and transport the injured man, police reinforcements were deployed to disperse a gathering crowd.
