London: Two children have died and several others are reported to be injured in a knife attack in the British city of Southport on Monday. A suspect has been arrested in connection with this incident. This attack took place in a children’s dance workshop. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has described the stabbing incident in the city of Southport in north-west England as ‘horrific’. Armed personnel of the local Merseyside Police have reported arresting a person and confiscating a knife in connection with this incident.

British PM told the shocking incident

The North-West Ambulance Service has said that at least eight people have been injured in this stabbing incident and the injured have been admitted to several hospitals. Prime Minister Stormer has condemned this incident. Stormer said in a post on social media, “Horrific and extremely shocking news is coming from Southport. My condolences are with all the affected people. I would like to thank the police and emergency services for their quick action.”

17 year old accused arrested

Merseyside Police said officers were called to a “major incident” at a property on Hart Street in Southport at around 11:50 BST.
Police later confirmed that a 17-year-old boy from Banks had been arrested in connection with the attack. Police seized a knife from the arrested boy. The North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) said they had treated eight patients with knife injuries and some were taken to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
