LCG Auctions opened the auction for the first unsealed iPhone on February 2, 2023, and knocked the price down on February 19, 2023, with up to 27 bids submitted. $63,356.40, 105 times more than the initial in-store price ($599).
The original owner of the first iPhone did not open the seal that was auctioned to reveal that Received the device as a gift from a friend in 2007 and has never been used. The device is over 15 years old!
