Knotfest returns to São Paulo with two Slipknot performances

Knotfest 2024 has been confirmed, a date is already set and tickets are on pre-sale. The announcement of this year’s edition was made alongside the announcement that Slipknot will undertake a tour commemorating the 25th anniversary of the release of their first album.

After a first edition in 2022, Knotfest returns to São Paulo after the 2023 edition was canceled without further information released by the festival organizers. Created by Spliknot himself, the 2024 edition, the second held on Brazilian soil, will feature the band as the headliner of the two days of shows.

Scheduled for October 19th and 20th, the festival promises to fill Allianz Parque and deliver moments of true nostalgia for metal fans. During the event, which has not yet had its line-up fully revealed, Slipknot will make two different and unprecedented presentations for Brazilian fans.

On the 19th, the show will be a celebration of the group’s trajectory and will include hits from their 9 studio albums. On the 20th, it will be time to celebrate the band’s first album, which will be performed in full.

Sales started

Although the other bands that will be part of the Knotfest 2024 line-up have not yet been announced, ticket sales for the festival have already started this Thursday morning, February 1st.

“Pre-sale” tickets are currently available through the website. Eventim, and prices range from R$245 reais (half-price – upper seat), to R$1595 (half-price – VIP 2 package – Maggot). The general sale will start on February 2nd, starting at 10 am.

The expectation is that the announcement of the other bands will be made over the next few days.
