Rand opened the conversation and asked Apello if he had ever hurt people. To the question, the singer answered in the affirmative: “Unfortunately, when you don’t grow up on the knees of the Torah, no matter what, you end up hurting people.” The conversation continued and Rand asked to know what made Kobe angry. Apello explained that although he tries to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere around him, there is one thing that annoys him: “If you lie to me, which I know is a lie, and you make me look stupid, it can drive me crazy.”

Later in the conversation, Apello refers to the dark side of the music industry: “I grew up in a reality where a friend is a friend, here I encountered the reality that people are your friends in the name of interest. I wouldn’t call it a friend, I would call it a professional relationship.” As you may remember, in recent times Apello caused a stir when he attacked the current music industry and claimed that the writers are fighting over who will write more stupid songs.
