Kochi: Tattoo artist PS Sujeesh arrested in sexual harassment case He was arrested by Cheranalloor police. Six cases have been registered against him.
Sujeesh has not been charged with any offense, including rape. Of these, four are registered at Palarivattom station and two at Cheranellore station. Sujesh had gone into hiding after the Meetu allegations surfaced. Police were investigating allegations that he had entered Bangalore.
Sujeesh then reached the Cheranalloor police station on Saturday night and surrendered. Meanwhile, the probe team collected evidence from the tattoo studio in Edappally. The Infected Studio, which had been closed for days, was reopened by police. Hard disk containing CCTV footage and other digital evidence were seized.
More people in the incident shared their experiences on social media with allegations. If they complain too, Sujeesh’s knot will tighten again.
The court may record the confessions of the 6 women who had lodged complaints against him tomorrow. The police have applied to the court for permission to make a secret statement. Police are continuing to search other tattoo parlors in Kochi in the wake of the incident. The aim is to collect employee information.
