VVS Laxman
VVS Laxman was one of the greatest players of all time in Indian cricket. He was the opener for Kochi Tuskers Kerala in the first match of IPL. Laxman retired from international cricket in 2012 and later worked as a mentor for the Sunrisers Hyderabad team. He is currently the head of the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
Mahela Jayawardene
Sri Lanka legend Mahela Jayawardene was the captain of Kochi Tuskers Kerala team. He batted at number three in Kochi’s first match in the IPL. After retiring from playing, he turned to coaching. He is currently the coach of IPL franchise Mumbai Indians.

Brad Hodge
Brad Hodge was one of the best T20 batsmen in world cricket during his playing days. Hodge was also one of Kochi Tuskers Kerala’s best signings. He scored 27 runs for Kochi in the first match. He was the coach of the Punjab franchise in the eleventh season of IPL. Currently in the commentary arena.
Ravindra Jadeja
Ravindra Jadeja was the star all-rounder of Kochi Tuskers Kerala team. He is the only player who was part of the team that played the first match of Kochi Tuskers in the IPL and is still active in cricket. One of the shining stars of the Indian cricket team, Jadeja is currently a player of the IPL team Chennai Super Kings.
Parthiv Patel

Vinay Kumar
Vinay Kumar, who was one of the superstars of domestic cricket, was also in the Kochi Tuskers team that played the first match of the IPL. He had a flawless performance in the match that Kochi lost. Virat Kohli’s wicket was also taken by Vinay Kumar in the match. He continued in the IPL till 2018 and played for Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders and RCB in addition to Kochi. He joined Mumbai Indians as a talent scout in 2021.
RP Singh
RP Singh was a strike bowler for Kochi Tuskers Kerala team. Able to swing the ball well to both sides, this one-armed pacer was also one of the spearheads of the team. But he had a disappointing performance in the first match. The retired cricketer is a member of the Cricket Advisory Committee. He has also played in Legends League cricket.
S Sreesanth
Malayali player S Sreesanth, who was the epitome of aggressive cricket, was also one of the shining stars of Kochi Tuskers Kerala. Sreesanth, who took the wicket of RCB opener Thilakaratne Dilshan in the first match, did not perform well overall.
