However, Malayalees rarely know the little lover who went on a fast to get the girl he fell in love with.
Kochu Preman’s wife is Girija, who gained attention through her roles as a mother in movies and serials. Kochu Preman met and fell in love with Girija while acting in a play. A teacher from Thiruvananthapuram Music College used to come to teach singing to his younger sister. Girija was the roommate of this teacher. Girija also comes with the teacher who comes to teach singing after college. Kochu Preman is tasked with bringing them back. And so he brought Girija to life.
When Girija said that he likes it, he initially resisted. No matter how hard he tried, Girija did not agree. When Girija did not give his consent, Kochu Preman started fasting. Fasting was for seven days. At last he fainted and fell down. When everyone rushed the actor to the hospital, Girija came to know that Preman had gone on a fast to tie him up. Later many spoke to Girija for Kochu Preman. Finally, Girija agreed to marry Kochu Preman.
