Kodaikanal Summer Festival, which started with a bang two years later, attracts millions of tourists with colorful flowers.
The 58th Flower Show was held in Kodaikanal, Dindigul District in May 2019. Since then the summer festival has not taken place for the past two years due to the spread of corona disease. The summer festival started today with a flower show amid great anticipation this year after the last 2 years.
Cooperatives Minister I Periyasamy, Tourism Minister Mathivendan, Food Minister Chakrabarty and Agriculture Minister Panneer Selvam inaugurated the flower show. The Minister along with the tourists continued to see the colorful flowers.
The tourism department hopes that millions of tourists from Tamil Nadu and neighboring states will flock to Kodaikanal as the flower show is scheduled to continue for 5 more days. Thus the people of Kodaikanal who depend only on tourism are happy.
