The CBI took over this case on 13 August on the orders of the Kolkata High Court. What investigation has the CBI done in this case since then? Why was the hospital told the deceased’s family that the case was a direct murder and it was a suicide? Why were the deceased’s family allowed to see the body after three hours? Why was maintenance work started at the crime scene instead of sealing it? Did he do all this on his own or did someone order him to do so? CBI can also conduct a polygraph test on him.

The way Kolkata Police handled the case after the incident, sources say that the role of Kolkata Police is also under suspicion. The police are being accused of trying to suppress the case by not registering an FIR in the murder case on time. CBI is also questioning the Tala police station in this case.
