Manchester United eye Kolo Muani as striking options dwindle

MANCHESTER, England – The summer transfer window sees Manchester United still in search of a new striker. Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani remains a target, according to reports. This comes as both Chelsea and Arsenal have reportedly declined the chance to sign the 26-year-old attacker.

Kolo Muani spent the latter half of the previous season on loan at Juventus. While Chelsea has already secured Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, and Arsenal is reportedly close to finalizing a deal for Viktor Gyokeres, United has yet to land a dedicated center forward.

United has previously been linked with all three of those players. However, they have not yet managed to sign a new out-and-out striker. The club’s pursuit of attacking reinforcements continues.

Reports suggest that a team managed by Ruben Amorim is also monitoring Kolo Muani’s situation. However, this club also has their sights set on Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins and Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic as potential striking options.

Did you know? Randal Kolo Muani joined Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023.

The continued interest in Kolo Muani highlights United’s persistent need for a reliable goal scorer. The club’s transfer strategy appears focused on bringing in proven talent to bolster their attacking ranks for the upcoming season.
