Hollywood actors Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds and director Shawn Levy, who visited Korea to promote the movie ‘Deadpool and Wolverine,’ visited Gocheok Sky Dome and watched a KBO League game.
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman were spotted in the stands during the live broadcast of the 2024 KBO League match between LG Twins and Kiwoom Heroes held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul on the 3rd.
The three watched the baseball game in comfortable attire. They clapped happily and seemed focused on the game. They also showed fan service by giving a thumbs up to the spectators who recognized them and posing for pictures.
Fans watching the baseball game on TV were also surprised to see them on camera. Baseball fans responded on social media with comments such as, “Why are Deadpool and Wolverine at Gocheok?” and “I can’t believe these two are watching a Korean baseball game.”
Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds also posted photos of themselves watching the game on Instagram.
Hugh Jackman said, “I went to watch a baseball game with two of my Korean friends,” and added, “If this is a dream, I don’t want to wake up early.” Ryan Reynolds said, “I didn’t expect to watch a baseball game in a beautiful Korean stadium tonight, but it happened.”
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman entered the country on the 3rd ahead of the release of ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’. They will attend the press conference to be held at the Grand Ballroom on the 3rd floor of the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul at 10 AM on the 4th, and will also attend the red carpet to be held at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul at 7 PM on the same day.
‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ is a dopamine-explosive action blockbuster that unfolds as Deadpool, who was living as an ordinary used car dealer after retiring from his life as a hero, faces an unexpected crisis and seeks out Wolverine, his polar opposite in every way. It is ‘Deadpool’s’ official addition to the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).
Ryan Reynolds, like in the first and second installments, participates in this film as a lead actor, producer, and writer, and Hugh Jackman, who played Wolverine for a whopping 24 years in the ‘X-Men’ series, plays the character again after 7 years since ‘Logan’ (2017). Opens on the 24th.
