The press service of the Kostroma Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that yesterday, February 25, a combined detachment of Kostroma policemen went on a regular business trip to the North Caucasus. The group of employees sent to Dagestan included representatives of the teaching staff, bodies of inquiry, the ECC, district commissioners, the traffic police and the cynological service.

Our police officers will have to keep order at one of the key checkpoints in Makhachkala. The Kostroma residents were seen off on a business trip by the head of the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Alexander Arapov and the governor Sergei Sitnikov, as well as relatives and friends of employees. At the end of the ceremony, Archpriest Oleg Novikov, rector of the Church of St. George the Victorious, blessed those departing for a prosperous service in the Caucasus.
