Six years later, the first look of ‘Kothu’ directed by Sibi Malayil has been released. Written by Hemant Kumar, the film is produced by Ranjith and PM Sasidharan under the banner of Gold Coin Motion Picture Company. This is a banner made by ‘Ayyappan and Koshy’.
The poster stars Asif Ali and Roshan Mathew in the lead roles. We see the other through the head of the weapon in one hand. Indications are that the film is set against the backdrop of political assassination. Sharing his first look, Ranjith said, “When relationships break down, when you see the other’s flag flying high, metal and fire become weapons. It’s time for those who take their last breaths. This film is dedicated to this era.
The film will be directed by Sibi Malayil after ‘Saigal Padukayani’ which was released in 2015. Nikhila Vimal is the heroine.
