Kottapaya – Mahinda to be built on the sidelines without being able to reject Basil’s request?

Sri Lankan People’s Alliance parliamentarian Wijedasa Rajapaksa has said that if given the opportunity, President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa will inevitably appoint Basil Rajapaksa as Prime Minister.

He also said that if Basil Rajapaksa made such a request, Gotabhaya could not ignore it.

However, Wijetasa Rajapaksa has said that Basil Rajapaksa will not be able to run for the post of Finance Minister or Prime Minister.

Wijetasa Rajapaksa stated this in an interview given to the YouTube channel.
