Alexis Kougias at OPAP Arena for AEK – Olympiacos VICHOS NIKOS / INTIME SPORTS
The Deputy Head of Disciplinary Prosecutions for Football Offenses, Deputy Prosecutor Nikolaos Margaritis, brought Disciplinary Proceedings against Alexios Kougias for the match between AEK and Olympiakos, in the context of the second matchday of the Super League playoffs.
With its announcement, the EPO made it known that the Deputy Head of Disciplinary Actions for Football Offenses, Deputy Prosecutor Nikolaos Margaritis, brought disciplinary action against one of the vice-presidents of PAE Olympiacos, Alexiou Kougia. The prosecution concerns the behavior of Mr. Kougia in the match between AEK and Olympiakos for the second matchday of the playoffs.
It is recalled that AEK commented on the behavior of the vice-president of PAE Olympiacos, Alexis Kougias before the start of the derby at OPAP Arena, claiming that Mr. Kougias “provoked the fans with extremist behavior that is unprecedented in our stadium”.
The announcement in detail:
“The Deputy Head of Disciplinary Prosecutions for Football Offenses, Deputy Prosecutor Nikolaos Margaritis, brought Disciplinary Prosecutions against Alexios Kougias.
The Disciplinary Prosecution is being brought because on 31-3-2024 in Nea Filadelfia Attica, where the football match between the AEK-OLYMPIAKOS teams took place, in the context of the 2nd matchday of the Super League playoffs, he committed acts that are foreseen and punished disciplinary by the provisions of articles 1, 2, 12§1 in cond. with no. 11§2 and with no. 10§1 item b, 26 of the EPO Disciplinary Code”.
