Former Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam has said in a statement:-
Coimbatore K. Selvaraj is relieved from the charge of Coimbatore District Secretary. In Coimbatore, the districts which were functioning in 3 divisions till now, Coimbatore, Coimbatore North, Coimbatore South and Coimbatore North are allowed to function as 4 districts.
Accordingly, T. Mohan has been appointed as Coimbatore District Secretary, L. Ilango as Coimbatore North District Secretary, M. Manimaran as Coimbatore South District Secretary, P. Rajendran as Coimbatore North District Secretary. I request all the party workers to extend full cooperation to the newly appointed district secretaries. It says so.
