New Delhi: The number of Kovid cases in the country continues to rise on a daily basis. In the last 24 hours, 3303 Kovid cases were reported. After 46 days, the daily number of Kovid cases crossed 3000.
In 24 hours, 2563 people were cured. 39 Kovid deaths confirmed. There are 16,980 active cases pending in the country. The confirmation rate is 0.66%. The cure rate is 98.74 percent.
In a meeting with the Chief Ministers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had yesterday directed that vigilance should be maintained and preventive measures should be intensified in the wake of the gradual increase in Kovid cases in the country. As part of preventive measures, states including Kerala have tightened restrictions on masks and social distance.
