New York: UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has said that Kovid cases are on the rise. The UN estimates that 1.5 million new cases are reported every day. Kovid prevalence is highest in Asia. It is the beginning of a new wave in Europe. In some countries, the death toll is rising, as it was in the early days of Kovid.
Kovid develops new varieties at an average interval of four months. Guterres also called on governments and vaccine companies to focus on getting the vaccine to all individuals.
