Brussels: Kovid has confirmed two hippopotamuses at the Antwerp Zoo in Belgium. Zoo officials said Kovid confirmed the use of fourteen and forty – one – year – old glaciers Hermione and Hermione.

Officials said the hippos, which have been confirmed to have the virus, currently have no problems other than a runny nose. These are now in quarantine. Francis Verkaman, a doctor at the Antwerp Zoo, said that to his knowledge, Kovid was the first to confirm the presence of hippopotamuses in cats and monkeys. Zoo staff have not yet confirmed Kovid’s and have not been able to locate the hippos where the virus came from, officials said.

According to the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Kovid has been reported to be confirmed in some zoos and some other pets in zoos around the world. Last month, three snow leopards died of Kovid at a zoo in Nebraska.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has warned that although the risk of transmitting Kovid from animals to humans is low, the disease can be transmitted from humans to pets.
