Kovid control tightens again in Oman; Stopped on Friday | Pravasi | Deshabhimani

Muscat> Kovid re-tightens restrictions in Oman Friday prayers (Friday) were suspended. Prayers can be continued for five hours in mosques. Admission to mosques is limited to 50% of the capacity. Kovid of the Ministry of Health should take precaution.

The new restrictions are effective for two weeks from Sunday. The Supreme Committee of Oman has recommended the postponement of all public events, including conferences and exhibitions, in the event of a severe Kovid outbreak. The number of employees in public sector undertakings and workplaces should be halved. About 50% of government employees work from home. Admission to restaurants, cafes, shops and other commercial establishments has been reduced to 50 per cent. Vaccination, physical distance and wearing of masks should be ensured.

Kovid cases have increased significantly in the last two weeks. The Ministry of Health’s Director of Prevention and Infection Control, Dr. Mohd. Amal bint Seifal Mani revealed. The case will continue in the coming days. Kovid has so far infected 318,272 people in Oman. Of these, 4,125 died. 3,03,644 people were cured. It has started giving booster dose to locals and foreigners.
