Riyadh : The number of Kovid victims is increasing daily in Saudi Arabia. Kovid confirmed 389 cases. 124 people recovered. One died. The total death toll was 8871. Of the 5,52,795 confirmed by Kovid so far, 5,40,868 have been cured. There are 3056 patients in various hospitals. Of these, 33 are in the intensive care unit. In Riyadh alone, 122 cases were reported, according to the Ministry of Health. The major cities in the country are Jeddah-81, Makkah-76, Madinah-22 and Dammam-14.

The Department of Health has also decided to give a booster dose to people over the age of 16 as part of efforts to control the spread of the virus. Those who have completed 16 doses of the two-dose vaccine can receive the booster dose three months later. So far, the booster dose has been given to people over 18 years of age. The Ministry of Health has recommended that both nationals and foreigners of a certain age be vaccinated to achieve immunity. So far 15,44,668 doses of booster vaccine have been given.
