Kovid for 4064 people in Kerala today; Only 391 people were newly admitted to the hospital; Healing 9531 – e News

Kovid-19 has been confirmed for 4064 people in Kerala today. Ernakulam 553, Thiruvananthapuram 543, Kozhikode 425, Kottayam 399, Kollam 348, Thrissur 315, Malappuram 270, Alappuzha 229, Idukki 220, Palakkad 198, Pathanamthitta 195, Kannur 174, Wayanad 135 and Kasaragod 60 districts were affected today.

51,974 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. There are currently 1,27,341 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 1,24,493 are under home / institutional quarantine and 2,848 are under hospital surveillance. A total of 391 people were newly admitted to the hospital.

At present, out of 41,675 Kovid cases, only 6.7 per cent are admitted to hospitals / field hospitals.

In the last 24 hours, 15 deaths have been confirmed to be due to Kovid-19. In addition, 37 deaths were reported in the previous days due to late receipt of documents and 160 deaths due to appeal by the Central Government under the new guidelines of the Supreme Court. This brings the total death toll in the state to 64,803.

Today, 9 of those diagnosed with the disease are from outside the state. 3858 people were infected through contact. Contact source for 162 is not clear. Thirty-five health workers were affected.

9531 people who were diagnosed and treated were cured. Thiruvananthapuram 821, Kollam 120, Pathanamthitta 550, Alappuzha 646, Kottayam 1562, Idukki 414, Ernakulam 2078, Thrissur 912, Palakkad 428, Malappuram 471, Kozhikode 602, Wayanad 490, Kannur 357 and Kasaragod 80 were cured. With this, 41,675 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 63,80,561 have so far been freed from Kovid.

Kovid 19 Analysis Report

One dose of vaccine (2,68,93,920) was given to 100% of the population to be vaccinated and two dose vaccines (2,29,89,507) to 86%.

ശതമാനം 77% (11,75,010) of children aged 15 to 17 years were given the first dose and 29% (4,50,279) were given the second dose of vaccine.

Kerala has the highest number of vaccinations / million in India (14,69,378)

Between 17 and 23 February, out of an average of 69,460 cases treated, only 1.6 per cent required oxygen beds and only 1.2 per cent needed ICUs.
