Jeddah: Saudi Arabia has recorded 2,523 new cases and 3,825 cases. This brings the total number of Kovid cases reported in the country so far to 7,24,525 and the number of cases to 6,85,536.
All four deaths were newly reported. This brings the total death toll in the country to 8,969. Currently, 30,020 people are being treated for the disease. Of these, 1,040 are in critical condition. They are in the intensive care unit of various hospitals across the country. The condition of the rest is satisfactory.
The covid release rate in the country is 94.61 per cent and the mortality rate is 1.23 per cent.
Number of newly reported cases in major cities of the country: Riyadh 851, Jeddah 172, Dammam 163, Hufuf 101, Madinah 74, Makkah 58. So far 5,91,95,218 doses have been distributed in Saudi Arabia. Of these, 2,57,35,742 were the first dose, 2,38,92,160 the second dose and 95,67,316 the booster dose.
