The grand procession was held yesterday as the culmination of the Masimaka festival of the Mecheri Bhadrakaliamman temple.
Bhadrakaliamman Temple
There is a famous Bhadrakaliamman temple in Mecheri. The temple started on the 12th of last month with the invocation and flag hoisting of the Masjid Election Festival.
This was followed by the Ganesha mini-election yesterday evening. In this context, the big election took place yesterday as the culmination of the Masi Maga election.
In turn the Ganesha chariot and the big chariot behind departed from the temple yesterday evening. A large number of devotees joined in and roped the chariots.
