An 11-year-old girl was found dead inside her house in Kattippara, Kozhikode. Vaishna, daughter of Thiyakandi Vinod, died. Kattipara is a sixth class student of Nusrat UP School. The incident took place while father Vinod and mother Bousha were on their way to work. Brothers Vinayak and Vaiga were at home. Vaishna, who had gone to her room while studying, did not return and the brothers called her father and informed him. He then broke down the door and went inside to find the child hanging. The body was shifted to Kozhikode Medical College for postmortem.
