jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is opening up the opportunity to summon Kaesang Pangarep’s friend who is suspected of providing private jet facilities.
KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring Pahala Nainggolan said that Kaesang had admitted that the private jet he used belonged to a friend with the initials Y.
“We will see if that is true. We will confirm it for sure,” said Pahala at the KPK Building, South Jakarta, Tuesday (17/9).
Pahala claims not to know the background of Y that Kaesang is referring to.
“The initial Y, if I’m not mistaken, is his first (name). But we don’t know whether his full name is correct, whether he is an Indonesian citizen or a foreigner or what. So, he said who the plane belongs to, we will confirm it again,” explained Pahala.
Previously, Kaesang Pangarep and his wife, Erina Gudono, received a lot of attention on social media, one of which was regarding the use of a private jet when traveling to the US.
The alleged gratification was discussed by netizens, such as on social media X, after Kaesang’s wife, Erina Gudono, uploaded a view from inside a private jet via social media Instagram.
This led to Kaesang being reported to the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) by the Coordinator of the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) Boyamin Saiman and lecturer at the Jakarta State University (UNJ) Ubaidilah Badrun.
