The Ogre stage was held in sunny and very warm weather conditions, gathering more than 1000 riders. The final stage of the season was very decisive in the battle for victory in both “Toyota” Gravel and “Lielbāt” MTB distances. Meanwhile, the competition tracks were built on the territory of the nature park and on the gravel and forest roads of the Ogre area.

In the 73.5-kilometer Toyota Gravel distance, where the participants were surprised by Úpis standing on the road, the home team Alekss Krasts and fellow competitor Gusts Lapiņš broke away already in the beginning of the track. By working together successfully, the two cyclists gained more than 2 minutes of lead over the following group, which split at the end. The fight for victory was decided in the finish spurt, where Gustas Lapiņa beat Aleksas Krastas from Ogre. The winner spent 2 hours 2 minutes and 47 seconds on the track. The third place was won by Kārlis Klismets (“Energus”), who finished almost 2 minutes behind the winner. Sandijs Kļaviņš, Riks Sipovičs and Jānis Rubiks also entered the top six.

Krasts became the overall winner of the series, leaving Kapara Sergis (“Giant & Liv team Latvia”) and Sandija Kļaviņa (“Ogres bike team”) in second and third place, respectively.

In the women’s competition, Renāte Rodionova (“ĐažiVelo”) convincingly won the Ogre stage and the overall ranking of the season. His closest follower Katrina Jaunslavieti-Kipuri from “ZZK AP Print” was overtaken by 1 minute and 50 seconds. TOP3 was completed by Laura Belohvoszczyk from “RRS” (+00:08:22). In the overall ranking, all three also shared the podium in this order.

“Dako Zielmevidzeme” won the stage in the team competition. “Gravel Weekend” followed in second place, and “Valmiera Velo unit” came in third. In the overall ranking, the team winners became “Giant & Liv team Latvia”, which managed to beat the fiercest competitors from “Dako Zielmevidzeme”.

In the “Lielbāta MTB” distance, cyclists completed two 20-kilometer laps. Here the main intrigue was about the overall winner in the absolute men’s ranking. Rainers Zviedris was riding in the leader’s shirt, but Đirts Cirvelis, erasing his worst stage, was even in the best overall standings.

Already in the first part, Rainer attacked several times, but in the second lap of the circle, a group of their followers with Cirveli caught up with him. Rainer also did everything in the second lap to gain an advantage over Đirta Cirveli, but it did not end in success. Both entered the finish one behind the other. Even though the Swede won the stage, Đirts Cirvelis (“Roadex”) became the champion after discarding one of the most unsuccessful stages of the season. Nauris Zviedris (“Dako Zielmevidzeme”) took the third place in the stage, finishing 4 seconds behind the winner. But in the overall TOP3, Oskars Argalis (“Velohooligans/ Ķeizari1”) finished.

In the women’s competition, Kate Ketrīna Skujiņa continued her winning streak, having secured the overall victory earlier. In the Ogre stage, he beat his closest follower, Anita Antoni, by 2 minutes and 48 seconds. The third place went to Amanda Reilya Zariņa, who lost to Antone by only half a second. Also in the overall standings, all three ranked in this order.

In the youth group, Marks Jākobsons won, followed by his teammate from “NN Sporta klubs/ RRS” Alvils Pētersons. Meanwhile, Helvij Kancers completed the TOP3. The overall winner was Peterson, the second Everts Meijers, the third Richard Hansons (all “NN sporta klubs/ RRS”). Meanwhile, for the juniors, Krišjānis Lejiņš (Dobeles SS) won the stage.

“Dako Zielmevidzeme” is the first team in the stage and in the overall standings. The second is “NN Sporta klubs/ RRS”, and the third is Velo club “Sigulda”. Overall, a convincing victory for “Dako Zielmevidzeme”.

Mārtiņš Ice from “VeloLifstyle/ Smiltenes BJSS” was the absolute fastest in the 20-kilometer long “Mammadaba” Health Ride. Teammate Roberts Yudins followed in second place, while Ralfs Załeskis from “NN Sporta klubs” was third. Overall victory for Mārtiņš Ice. In the M12 group, the stage was won by Adrians Purlaurs, and in the overall ranking, the champion title went to Dobelian Eduard Eichman.

For the girls, in the W12 group, Charlotte Kļumele won the stage, while Katrīna Hansone, her teammate, was first in the overall standings. Samanta Roziņa from “Latvian Cycling girls” won the W14 group in the stage and in the overall standings.

The “Maxima” children’s trips went briskly and positively, gathering a large number of little pedal lovers.
