Krejcikova wins title in Tallinn against Kontaveit

Barbora Krejcikova wins (6-2/6-3) against Anett Kotaveit who was at home.

Czech Barbora Krejcikova (27th in the world) won the Tallinn tournament on Sunday by beating Estonian Anett Kontaveit (4th) 6-2, 6-3 in the final. Krejcikova, who won Roland-Garos last year, dominated the tournament’s No.1 seed on home soil, conceding only three points in the last three games to conclude the meeting in 1h22.

It was Kontaveit’s second defeat against Krejcikova this year, after that in the semi-finals of the Sydney tournament, where the Estonian missed seven match points before losing 0-6, 6-4, 7-6 .
