The Kremlin today (Wednesday) released a response to US President Joe Biden after calling Putin a “genocide.” they Clarify that this is an expression that is not acceptable.
A Kremlin spokesman added, “It is even more unacceptable to hear these things from the President of the United States, a country that has committed crimes known to us all at other times.”
The bulk of Biden’s speech tonight was on the new steps the administration is taking to address rising fuel prices, which comes in the wake of the war in Ukraine. Among the steps the president has announced is the expansion of biofuel sales.
In his remarks, Biden seemed to link the rise in fuel costs directly to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s war on Ukraine, saying that Americans’ budgets should not depend on whether a dictator “commits genocide” in another country.
