KS Eshwarappa’s resignation came under intense pressure over the death of the contractor. On Friday evening, Ishwarappa had told the media that he was going to meet the chief minister and hand over his resignation letter so that senior leaders of the party and those who wish him well would not have any problems. Despite submitting his resignation, the BJP leadership is of the view that no action is required against Ishwarappa now.
Karnataka Rural Development Minister KS Eshwarappa had yesterday tendered his resignation after allegations surfaced that a contractor had committed suicide after the commission asked him to change the bills.
