DMK press secretary KS Radhakrishnan has been suspended from DMK. DMK General Secretary Durai Murugan has issued a statement in this regard.
KS Radhakrishnan, who is the press secretary of DMK, was close to former DMK president Karunanidhi. After the death of Karunanidhi, KS Radhakrishnan has not attended many DMK events. Also, he has been staying away from party work. But he has been posting his opinion from time to time through social media.
In that way, KS Radhakrishnan shared the historical events of the Congress Presidentship with a weekly newspaper published yesterday when Mallikarjuna Kharge won the recently held Congress President election.
KS Radhakrishnan shared the information in the article, “If we take a historical look at the election of Congress president, in 1938, Netaji and P. Pattabhi Sitaramayya competed in the election of Congress president. Netaji won it. For the second time in 1950, Purushottam Das Thandon and senior Congress leader JP Kripalani also contested.
The third time was in 1997 when Sitaram Kesari, Sarath Pawar and Rajesh Pilot contested, Sitaram Kesari won. Even Sitaram Kesari could not continue as the leader and the newspapers of the day published all the ways in which Sonia’s supporters behaved.
