KSU.NO – Highasakite to Kulturfabrikken

by time news

– Another superb booking is in place. It is a pleasure to welcome Highasakite back to Kulturfabrikken Kristiansund on Friday 1 June 2024, Kulturfabrikken writes in a press release.

The tickets will be released next Friday, the day before vocalist Ingrid Helene Håvik is honored on TV2’s “Hver gang gi møtes” on Saturday evening.

– The band has never been bigger and more relevant than now. At Kulturfabrikken we are looking forward to the concert enormously, almost two years after our last visit, writes Kulturfabrikken.

A festival summer with a live show completely out of the ordinary, and a sold-out autumn tour where 20,000 tickets were snapped up at record speed.

2022 and 2023 were new milestone years in Highasakite’s impressive and highly meritorious career.

According to NRK, Highasakite proved with “Mother” that in 2022 they were one of Norway’s most important bands.

Hardly any other band has characterized Norwegian music in the last ten years like Highasakite, neither from the speakers in the living room nor from the stage.

With the concerts and live performances the band is behind, they prove once again that they are at the top as one of Norway’s most important bands here as well.

“No other Norwegian artist surpasses this show” and “Highasakite to new heights” are some of the headlines the 2022 tour resulted in.

A tour that sold the first 10,000 tickets in just five hours, and where many concerts were sold out in a few minutes. Highasakite has become one of our most popular bands.

With the album “Silent Treatment” (2014), they broke all records when they spent 134 weeks on the VG list. They have since topped the bill at all the major Norwegian festivals, sold out several arenas, won a flurry of awards, performed at the Nobel Concert, and toured the world several times.

– Now the preparations for 2024 are well under way and we can hardly wait to experience what plans Highasakite has for us. As “Silent Treatment” turns ten years old this year, we will naturally hear a lot from this album, but there will be room for a number of the band’s big hits throughout the evening, writes Kulturfabrikken.

The tickets will be published on Friday 9 February at 09.00Kulturfabrikken informs.
