Chinnalapatti: A rollball skating competition for 15-17-year-olds was held in Belgaum, Karnataka by the Rollball Federation of India.
Teams from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Puducherry, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Delhi participated. In the final, the Tamil Nadu women’s team defeated the Maharashtra team and became the champions.
In the men’s category, Rajasthan team stood first and Tamil Nadu stood 2nd.
The Tamil Nadu women’s team beat Rajasthan and the men’s team came 3rd in the over-17 senior division tournament held in Goa.
A felicitation ceremony was held at the Chinnalapatti Rajan Indoor Sports Hall for the students who won the competitions.
International umpire Premnath presided and coach Rajasekhar presided.
