Prime Minister Narendra Modi took out a procession in Ramnagar-MJD’s stronghold of Mandya. Meanwhile, in Harohalli of Ramnagar, former Chief Minister Kumaraswamy organized a grand non-vegetarian feast for the volunteers.

Mandya is the stronghold of the BJP. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Bengaluru-Mysore National Highway at Mandya yesterday.

He participated in a public meeting in Mathur and addressed and encouraged the volunteers.

Meanwhile, yesterday afternoon, a felicitation ceremony was held for former Chief Minister Kumaraswamy and his wife Anita to commemorate the declaration of taluka status to Harohalli.

Nikhil Kumaraswamy presided over the program.

More than 30 thousand people attended the event. A non-vegetarian feast was arranged for them by Kumaraswamy.

A variety of dishes were served, including kelvaraku kali, curry and chicken roast. More than 500 chefs prepared food.

Kumaraswamy said:

Nikhil did not throw a party for his son’s wedding or naming ceremony. Even during Srinivasa Kalyana Utsavam, the people of the region could not properly feast. So food was arranged for everyone.

Eat without any mess. Harohalli had to be declared a taluk after adding two municipalities. Since my government was overthrown by then, the announcement of a new taluk was shelved. Because Kumaraswamy would get a good name, they conspired.

This is what he said.
