Sivagangai, : Kumbabhishaka ceremony was held at Cholaiyappaswamy Temple in Kanchirangal Cholai Nagar near Sivagangai. A large number of devotees participated.
On February 8th, Ganapatieham, the first yaga pooja was held. On Feb. 9, the second period of puja, Poornahuti Deeparathan, and the third period of Yagapooja were held.
On Feb. 10, between 9:00 am and 10:25 am, Kadampurappad Maha Abheeshakam, Thirupattu Sattala and Maha Deeparathana took place. Devotees were given alms.
Arrangements were made by Cholaiyappan Temple Trust and administrators.
