Preparations for the inauguration of the Ram temple are in full swing in Ayodhya in northern India, the Washington Post reported.
“Monday’s inauguration of the Ram temple is expected to fulfill the demand of Hindu nationalists and create a ripple effect among the electorate in the April or May parliamentary elections,” the newspaper said.
It also said that temporary huts have been set up in Ayodhya to accommodate thousands of people.
Dozens of flights have been arranged to fly to Ayodhya for important guests to attend the event. Many movie stars and celebrities are expected to participate in this Kumbabhishek event.
“The inauguration of one of India’s most controversial religious sites, the Ram Temple, will give Narendra Modi’s politics a big boost ahead of the April-May general elections,” the paper said.
“He is trying to come to power for the third time. For that they are trying to woo Hindus who make up 80 percent of India’s population.”
Officials said that 7,500 people will participate in the event, the newspaper said. By the end of this year, one lakh devotees will visit here daily.

He also said in the book that he always wanted to be an important figure in history and wanted to be treated with respect like other national leaders in the future.

Business of gold and silver jewelers is increasing due to the celebrations in Ayodhya.
Some retail jewelers here say they have run out of stock as demand for gold and gold-plated Rama idols and temples has soared. Due to this, they have said that they have to import some products from Thailand.
According to the news agency, Baldev Singh, manager of HS Jewelers in Lucknow, said, “Customers are buying such idols for gifting and keeping at home. But they have to wait for two months.”
